Career Counseling
Gerontology is an in-demand career field. Jobs are everywhere. Older adults are the fastest-growing segment of the world's population, creating a high need for professionals trained in aging and later life.
We invite you to schedule a career counseling appointment to meet with our career counselor via Zoom. We offer several types of meetings: Quick Questions sessions (15 minutes) or Counseling Appointments, Practice Interviews, and Resume Building and Review (30 minutes).

Practice Interviews
Confidence is key. Our career counselor will help prepare students and alumni for interviews through practice and exploring resources that help you succeed. These appointments are available for current students and alumni. Schedule a 30-minute mock interview to get ahead and show off your strengths.
Additionally, practice interviews must be scheduled at least one week before the official interview date. Our career counselors will need information about the hiring organization, the job listing, and the applicant's resume to offer the best support. Feedback will be provided via email after your practice interview session.

Resume Building and Review
We want you to put your best foot forward. Current students and alumni can request help crafting a standout resume that showcases their expertise. Meet with a career counselor for 30 minutes to discuss your aspirations and resume needs. Resumes should be sent ahead of time to be reviewed before meeting with your career counselor.
