Bio
Edmund Boxley (He/They) joined the VCU College of Health Professions Department of Gerontology and Virginia Center for Aging team as their Communications Manager in 2024. With seven years of communications know-how, he brings with them a vivid sense of creativity and an enthusiasm for creating accessible graphic and web design.
Edmund graduated from Ferrum College in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Art in Media and Communication. Since graduating, they have served in communication roles within Virginia Commonwealth University and Virginia Employment Commission. Within each role, Edmund has cultivated a sense of teamwork, collaboration and appreciation -- because it takes a village.
In his free time, Edmund enjoys relaxing at the river, crocheting, roller skating, watching anime with his cat Oli and making all manner of handmade crafts.
